Radiation Fibrosis Workshop with Rad Chat and Vicky Fox

Rad Chat is the multi-award winning, first therapeutic radiographer led oncology podcast and social media channel @Rad__Chat designed for cancer patients, healthcare professionals, academics, and researchers. Naman Julka-Anderson and Jo McNamara are both therapeutic radiographers who have unique backgrounds, bringing specialist knowledge and skills to the conversation. Their guests include cancer patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, and leaders within healthcare. Rad Chat won the European Federation of Radiological Societies patient-centred care award for Europe in 2022, the regional and overall, UK team of the year 2022 from the Society of Radiographers, Naman also won London and overall UK radiographer of the year 2022 and Jo won Yorkshire Radiographer of the year in 2023.

Rad Chat is designed to educate and inform healthcare professionals working in oncology, endorsed by CPD Now, as well as support people living with and beyond cancer.

This workshop will be part discussion with Naman and Jo and an opportunity to ask questions and hear from the experts of this side effect of radiotherapy.

Vicky will then take you through some poses that will work at opening up the neck, chest, ribs and pelvis so you leave with some tools to help open up these tight areas on a daily basis. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in and blankets and cushions for seated postures.

The workshop will be recorded and all participants will receive a recording for 14 days
