Yoga for cancer classes are specialist classes designed to support anyone living with cancer they focus on the side effects of treatment for cancer and provide a safe and supportive space where you can start to rebuild strength, release tension and find moments of calm away from busy thoughts.

There is strong evidence that exercise can help with fatigue, depression, anxiety, lymphoedema, quality of life and build back muscle strength that might be lost from inactivity due to treatment.

You do not need to feel well to come to class. Most students report that they feel better for being part of the class. You can read the testimonials from students HERE.

To join a yoga for cancer class you need to be reasonably mobile and move independently. Have all surgical incisions healed and feel that your needs can be addressed in a group setting.  A 1-1 session can be organised if you feel you don’t meet the criteria above.

All classes have a livestream or online option so you can join the class from the comfort of your home or if you are based in London you can join me in-person. I teach yoga for cancer classes from 3 different studios. The Power Yoga Co in Parsons Green, Home Wellness in Primrose Hill and Future Dreams Breast Cancer Centre in Kings Cross

With over a decade of experience working with and listening to my wonderful students impacted by cancer I understand that you are unique and individual and there is no one like you so your experience of cancer is also unique. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach which is why every class begins with time to check in and share any side effects you might like support with, in that moment.

These specialist classes can help address common treatment-related side effects such as anxiety, joint pain, lymphoedema, digestive discomfort, scar tissue, radiation fibrosis, menopausal symptoms, cording, peripheral neuropathy and fatigue. whilst always honouring your individual needs. Classes are carefully tailored with plenty of modifications and guidance so that you can adapt the class and the poses to suit your levels of energy, your range of movement and your needs for that class
